Your hair’s needs will vary depending on type—swap your shampoo for The Cleansing Scrub about once a week for an extra deep clean. Start with about a quarter-sized amount of The Cleansing Scrub, which should be just enough to cover your scalp. Apply directly to the scalp, and then massage with the pads of your fingers—not your nails—in a circular motion to stimulate the flow of blood and promote healthy growth. Do this as gently as possible, and as always, be careful with your strands (they’re delicate!). No need to use The Cleansing Scrub anywhere but your scalp. The texture can be a bit rough for your ends, and when you rinse out the lather, it’ll wash through the rest of your hair, leaving it just as clean as you need it to be.
