ABOUT CROWN AFFAIR
Crown Affair is a haircare and beauty brand founded by Dianna Cohen, on the belief that loving your hair begins with understanding how to care for it. Crown Affair aims to create a space where everyone can access the guidance, tools, and community they need to redefine their relationship with their hair, all on their own.
We currently offer 5 products: The Brush, The Comb, The Towel, The Oil, and The Set. We chose to launch with these 5 products because of the way they are seamlessly worked into our hair care rituals. In your haircare rituals and routine, each product has a different purpose that proves beneficial to maintaining healthy hair you will love. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, shoot us a text or an email and one our customer care associates will help you out.

All of our products were made sustainably, with many of our products intended for use over a long period of time. In short, our products are made to last. All of the Crown Affair packaging and packing materials are recyclable, reusable and compostable.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We accept all major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover), Paypal, and GooglePay.
We do not currently accept gift cards as a form of payment.
We do not offer a formal sampling program at Crown Affair. We would love for you to purchase the products and try them out to see what you think first — if you don’t love anything you've purchased, just send us a note within 30 day of purchase to email@example.com and we will provide you with next steps on how to return you purchase for a refund.
At this time, we do not offer a referral program or referral discount. This is something we are considering and working on for the future. Stay tuned!
We sell our products to customers living in the United States. We would like to note that for our customers living in Alaska and Hawaii, shipment will take a little bit longer to arrive.
We offer only one shipping option, which is standard shipping (3-5 business days). Please note that if you are a customer wanting to ship products to Alaska or Hawaii, your order will require a few extra days for delivery (about 5-10 business days).
We are offering a limited time offer which includes free shipping to all customers who make a purchase within the first two months of launch (purchases made before March 29, 2020).
Your package will arrive within 3-5 business days of processing. After you have placed an order please allow up to 1 business day for your order to be processed by the warehouse.
If you need to edit or cancel your order, you may do so within the first hour of ordering directly via the confirmation email. If you cannot locate your confirmation email or if you’re order is outside of the one hour window, send a quick email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can help you further with this. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to edit your order beyond the one hour mark.
Upon shipment of your package, you will receive an email containing your package shipment information and a link to track the package.
Within 30 days of purchase, If you received your product(s) and did not like it for any reason, feel free to reach out to our CX team at email@example.com to help. Refunds reappear in your bank account within 5-10 business days of processing.
If you have any products that are damaged or are not of the highest quality, we will offer you a replacement free of charge. If you’d like to exchange products just out of preference, that’s ok too — we’re happy to accommodate. Send a note with the product in question and we will be happy to help you get a different product in its place.
Our products are made all over the world. The Brush is handmade in Italy. The Comb(s) are handmade in Switzerland. The Towel is made in South Korea. The Oil is made in the USA but contains ingredients sourced from Japan.
Our products are cruelty free, we never test on animals. All of our products, except The Brush, are vegan.
All of our products are Sulfate and Paraben Free.
The Towel is made of polyester (76%) and polyamide (24%).
This is a great question — for us, the answer is simple, what may be gentle on your skin may not always gentle on your hair. Your hair is most vulnerable when wet and we specifically designed The Towel to protect your hair during this period of vulnerability. The custom microfiber gently blots moisture out of your hair and cuts down your drying time.
The Oil does house a gentle fragrance that is not too overpowering. The top notes are a mix of Italian bergamot, yuzu and lemongrass, while the bottom notes are on the woodsier side.
The Oil is gluten free.
