Ingredient Story

01 Hydrate & Detangle

Use The Leave-In Conditioner daily to deeply hydrate and restore moisture to your hair. Tsubaki Seed Oil works to reduce frizz and flyaways, soften brittleness and hydrate from the inside out, making it easy to detangle strands and promote growth in the long run.

02 Protect From Heat

If your hair runs dry in general or the elements are getting to it, try adding The Leave-In Conditioner to your air dry. Thanks to Meadowfoam Seed Oil, a natural heat protectant, it works to heal hair and protect it from future damage from heat.

Water/Aqua/Eau, Pentylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Camellia Japonica (Tsubaki) Seed Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate, Calcium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Isopropyl Alcohol, Fragrance/Parfum, Citral, Limonene, Linalool

Chef’s Kiss

I’ve been using this everyday for a week now and I love it. It’s lightweight which is perfect for my hair type and leaves my hair soft and less tangled than it normally would be. Plus it smells SO good, I’m addicted!

A moisturizing leave in conditioner that isn't greasy

I struggle with hair that is thirsty and dry, especially prone to dryness with the blow drying and hot curling irons that I like to style my hair with. This is silky smooth when it goes on and really works to tame frizz and fly aways but not leave a greasy finish. It's the best leave in conditioner I've ever used!

Luxurious, lightweight, and non-greasy

I have very fine straight Asian hair that is dry at the ends and gets greasy at the top quickly. I’ve struggled to find a hair care brand that I truly love and I’ve never been loyal to any one line or brand until I found Crown Affair through an influencer I follow. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to because I love this brand and their ethos so much!

Formula: Per the instructions, I use this a few times a week after showering and apply it to wet/damp ends after combing them out. It dries super weightlessly (a must for my very fine hair) and smooths and hydrates my damaged, dry ends. I love how lightweight and non-greasy the formula is. I’ve heard it compared to a lotion which is totally accurate!

Packaging: The packaging is very luxurious, heavy, and feels high quality. I do get a tiny bit nervous about having a glass container on my sink since I can be kind of clumsy and I’m really nearsighted. As a designer, I appreciate how clean and minimal the aesthetic is.

Scent: I have a very sensitive nose (and terrible allergies) but the scent of this doesn’t irritate me at all. The scent is strong but not overpowering and lasts till the 2nd (and sometimes even 3rd day) after initial application. My partner (who is also sensitive to smells) loves it and is constantly sniffing my hair and telling me how good it smells.

Price: My only gripe is that the price point is very high. Between the Ritual Conditioner, Renewal Mask, and Leave-In Conditioner, I would probably only…
