Fine Fibers

By Crown Affair

Your hair is made of delicate fibers that can be vulnerable to damage if not mindfully cared for and properly protected. The problem with the regular hair tie - something many of us have used on the daily - is that the elastic band causes unnecessary breakage, fraying, or even thinning. That’s why for us, switching from elastic to silk to create our scrunchie, was a deliberate yet easy choice to make.

Much like your hair, silk is also made of fragile, natural fibers. It’s a beautiful, luxe material that must be intentionally and thoughtfully cared for to uphold its integrity, strength, and shine. Selecting silk to craft our scrunchie means you’ll get less friction, less tight pulling, more breakage prevention, and smoother hair when you let it down.

We believe that mindful care leads to healthier hair. The simple switch from elastic hair ties to silk scrunchies may seem like a small step, but this act can make a huge difference to your hair’s health. It all comes down to taking your time. Slowing down. Looking at your daily rituals and the tools you use to support your selfcare. Taking note of what works and what doesn’t. Then making little adjustments, taking those small steps to uplevel your hair care. Because your hair has the undeniable power to elevate your attitude, your approach, and your perspective.
