A lightweight, layer-able nourishing cream, The Leave-In is meant to hydrate your hair (wet or dry). It quickly soaks in, smooths strands, and leaves them refined and textured without heaviness or stickiness—a great option for fine strands that may be weighed down by a traditional leave-in formula. It’s the ultimate do-it-all formula to revive and enhance your natural hair.

The Leave-In Conditioner takes the best parts of our signature Renewal Mask (deep, thorough hydration) and our lighter Ritual Conditioner, and adds ease of use—no shower required—and a naturally defining effect. We bottled it in frosted glass and added a pump dispenser, so it’s easy to control how much you use (start with 1-2 pumps for finer strands, and 3-4 for thicker strands) to smooth each strand and restore dry or damaged hair to its best natural state.

Due to its lightweight nature, The Leave-In Conditioner works best on fine, dry or damaged strands as a moisturizer, detangler, and universal smoothing product. How much you use will depend on the length, density, and porosity of your hair, so feel free to play around with it to find the perfect dosage for you. Because it’s easily buildable, you can start with a small amount and add more until your hair looks and feels the way you want it to.

FOR STRAIGHT AND WAVY HAIR: Apply 1-2 pumps of The Leave-In to your fingertips and work it into damp hair from mid-lengths to ends before air drying or heat styling as usual. Use The Leave-In as a styling refresh on dry hair to add texture, grit for manageability, and definition to curls and waves.

FOR CURLY HAIR: Work The Leave-In through damp hair post-wash from mid-lengths to ends. You might need a couple pumps or more, but start light and go from there to build as needed and to evenly work through strands. For particularly dry hair, layer on as needed for softer, refreshed hair.

FOR COILED HAIR: Apply The Leave-In to your ends to lock in moisture. If you do a twist out, braid out, or wash and go, use The Leave-In before The Oil and before a styling cream for extra hydration. On the second or third day post-wash, lightly spray hair with water and reapply The Leave-In to your ends.
