Your Start-of-the-Day Ritual

Your Start-of-the-Day Ritual

By Crown Affair

At Crown Affair, we’re always reminding you to take your time. But we don’t expect this in every aspect of your day—choosing one certain ritual or practice to spend more time with is what makes it special. Whether you’re an early riser and give yourself time to feel fully human each morning, or you’re not a morning person and would rather get the extra few minutes of sleep before rushing out the door, we all prioritize something different that helps us start our day.

If you make yourself a cup of coffee before work every morning instead of buying one out, consider that act your morning ritual. Burning a candle and spending time reading before starting work is a simple process that can help ease you into the day, too. Showering (and washing your hair) is something you have to do, but some people prioritize it in the morning rather than evening. Whichever you prefer, you’ve carved out the time to take care of yourself, and it doesn’t have to be a chore.

So what are your morning rituals? How do you start your day—and what makes it feel special?
